After a season of hard-fought matches in all kinds of weather, Boyne Hockey Club’s Transition Year players swapped their hockey kits and shin guards for formal wear as they gathered for a special end-of-season celebration at the Village Hotel in Bettystown.
The young players enjoyed an evening of dancing, chatting and celebrating with friends, marking the end of another memorable season on and off the pitch.

The club thanked the parents and members who helped chaperone the event and ensure everyone enjoyed a safe and enjoyable night.
While hockey sticks and kits will be back in action after the summer break, the photographs from the evening will provide plenty of memories of a fun and glamorous night out.
Boyne Hockey Club is supported by Irish Cement, Landy Muldoon, and Hibernia Steel and receives grant funding from Louth County Council and Meath County Council.
