The Cottage Market Prepares for Two Big Christmas Markets in Scotch Hall

The Cottage Market Drogheda is gearing up to bring even more festive sparkle to the town as it prepares for two Christmas markets in Scotch Hall next weekend.

Now in its ninth year, The Cottage Market has become one of Drogheda’s most-loved community traditions, running on the first Saturday of every month and showcasing the creativity of local makers from across the North East. This December, the festive edition is back with its biggest offering yet.

On Saturday December 13th and Sunday December 14th, the team will take over three unused shop units on the first floor of Scotch Hall, transforming the space into a vibrant indoor Christmas market packed with colour, craft and creativity.

Shoppers can expect a brilliant mix of stalls from specially selected local makers and small businesses. From artisan jewellery and original artwork to handcrafted skincare, candles and fashion, there will be no shortage of unique gift ideas. Food lovers can browse everything from award winning breads, cakes and jams to olives, oils, cheese, honey and Indian street food.

Visitors can soak up the festive atmosphere with Christmas tunes from the market DJs and take the time to meet the makers behind each stall. It’s the perfect place to pick up thoughtful local gifts and enjoy a relaxed Christmas outing right in the heart of the town.

The markets will run from 10am to 5pm both days, with a sensory hour from 10am to 11am to create a calmer environment for those who need it.

With its final festive showcase of the year now just days away, The Cottage Market is inviting the community to come along, support local, and experience the magic that has made it a Drogheda favourite for nearly a decade.
