As of 4pm, 12 ambulances are currently outside the Emergency Department at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
Some crews have reportedly been waiting over 3 hours to hand over patients.
This is not a one off. These delays are happening again and again and people here are asking the same question… what are our Government going to do about this?
Patients, paramedics and hospital staff deserve better than a system that is constantly overwhelmed.
