A new initiative aimed at bringing young people together through sport, skills development and personal growth is set to launch in Louth this April.
The programme, called Shared Goals, will run over two years and will offer free opportunities for schools, sports clubs and community organisations across the county.
The official launch event will take place on Wednesday, 15th April at The Fairways Hotel in Blackrock, with guests invited to arrive from 6.30pm ahead of the main event running from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.
Those attending can expect a live panel discussion featuring athletes and coaches from a range of sports, along with information on how schools, clubs and community groups can get involved in the programme.
Shared Goals is being delivered on behalf of Louth County Council and is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
The initiative aims to create inclusive opportunities for young people while encouraging participation, connection, and personal development through sport.
