Drogheda United has confirmed that defender Conor Keeley has signed a new contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2026 season.
The 27-year-old has been a standout performer for the Drogs since joining in 2023, making 78 appearances in claret and blue to date.
Keeley’s consistency and leadership at the back have made him a firm fan favourite — and his performances have not gone unnoticed. He was voted both Supporters’ Player of the Year in 2023 and Club Player of the Year for 2025, as well as being named in the PFAI Team of the Year.
This season, Keeley also showcased his attacking threat, finishing as the club’s top goalscorer with eight goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.
Keeley previously had a brief spell with St Patrick’s Athletic before returning to United earlier this season. His new deal underlines both the club’s ambition and the defender’s commitment to Drogheda United as they look ahead to 2026.
