Members of Inver Colpa Rowing Club are pictured here on Sunday 12th January in Scotch Hall presenting a cheque for €2,915 to representatives of the Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service and Clogherhead RNLI.
The money was raised at the ‘Row the Boyne Rowing Challenge’ that took place in Scotch Hall on Saturday 14th December. The total amount will be shared equally between the two organisations.
Representing the RNLI in the photograph above are Padraig Rath, Brian O Shiel, Noel Philips & Barry Mullen while representing the Boyne Fishermen is Jay Clarke. Also in the picture is Scotch Hall Centre Manager, Nichola Kelly.
Inver Colpa Rowing Club would like to thank Scotch Hall for hosting the event, Sean Kilroy Fitness Drogheda for sponsoring training tops, the Boyne Fishermen for the use of the room to train and finally St Nicholas’ GFC for the use of spinning bikes for warm ups.
