Drogheda Writers explore the Daak Side of the Faa Side for Halloween

The Drogheda Creative Writers group have organised two exciting poetry events that are taking place during the Lú Festival of Light.

On Friday 27th October at 12.30pm at Drogheda Library on Stockwell Street, writers from Drogheda Creative Writers and Drogheda Library, dressed in Halloween costumes, will read spooky poems and tales about all kinds of macabre figures.

Travel back in time with the haunted writers to a time where ghosts roamed the dark side of Drogheda and explore the customs and rituals observed by our pagan ancestors.

On Thursday 2nd November at 7pm at Droichead Arts Centre Cafe Bar on Stockwell Street, Drogheda Creative Writers will shine a light on the myths and legends from our shared past. Journey through time with our local writers and discover the magical stories that are rooted in the Boyne Valley region.
