Drogheda Brass Band and Sonaírí to perform special concert in Tullyallen

Drogheda Brass Band and the acclaimed classical duo Sonaírí will come together for a special joint concert in Tullyallen Community Centre on Saturday, March 14th at 7pm.

With a heritage dating back to 1886, Drogheda Brass Band has long been one of Ireland’s most respected and successful musical ensembles.

Known for their rich sound, community spirit and a performance history that spans major civic events, national broadcasts and international stages, the band continues to be a cornerstone of musical life in Drogheda.

As well as helping organise the first St Patrick’s Day parade in Drogheda, the band was also heavily involved in setting up the Drogheda Pantomime Society. This is particularly fitting in 2026 with the theme of this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade celebrating the pantomime society.

Following a very successful Christmas concert at the venue, the band is looking forward to returning to Tullyallen Community Centre.

They will be joined by Sonaírí, the Irish classical duo of soprano Amie Dyer and tenor David Corr. Formed at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, their performances blend classical elegance, Celtic soul and musical theatre, ranging from opera arias to well known Irish ballads and crossover favourites.

Together, the band and Sonaírí promise an evening of powerful music featuring a unique mix of brass performance and vocal artistry.

The concert promises a night celebrating local talent, Irish music and world class performance on one stage.
