Nuala Reilly had a terrific double win at the European Masters Championships in Madeira, Portugal. A difficult late start and heat didn’t put off the F65 Irish team that took silver in the the F65 Irish 10k road race and Nuala delivered an incredible performance on the European stage.
This is a phenomenal achievement and a proud moment for both Nuala and the club. To medal at European level is no small feat. Then four days later Nuala did it again when Team Ireland secured European Team gold F65 in half marathon – again in really tough conditions, 27 degrees C.
