A local fundraising challenge has raised €3,430 in support of Clann Mór Residential and Respite Services following a community walk to the famous Stairway to Heaven in Co Fermanagh.
The event brought together a group of supporters from Drogheda and surrounding areas who travelled to take on the popular hiking route and its well known boardwalk steps.
The fundraiser was organised by Mary Burke in partnership with Lorraine and the Pilates with Lorraine group in Drogheda, alongside Lisa B Lynch of Extensions By Lisab and Judith Chalmers MacEneaney.
Together, the organisers filled a bus with walkers determined to support the work carried out by Clann Mór.
Funds raised from the event will go towards Clann Mór’s goal of purchasing a new house to help expand services for adults with disabilities in the local community.
Clann Mór thanked everyone involved in the fundraiser, including the walkers, donors, and organisers who helped make the day such a success.
