A new colour filled event will take place in Bettystown next month, as Drogheda Credit Union and St Colmcilles launch the ‘Drogheda Credit Union Cilles Colour Run’. Families young and old are urged to step into a world of colour in this 5km fun run.
The Colour Run will take place in St Colmcilles GAA club grounds in Piltown, Bettystown on Saturday 3rd September at 12:00PM. Participants can run, jog, or walk through the course and at each kilometre get covered head to toe in a different colour of powder paint.
Single entry tickets cost €10 or a family ticket for up to 6 people is available for €40. Team tickets for groups of more than 25 people are available by contacting the club.
Tickets can be purchased online via the Colmcilles website www.cilles.com. The money raised will go towards the day to day running of the St Colmcilles club.
“We are delighted to be part of The Drogheda Credit Union Cilles Colour Run. It promises to be a fun filled, colourful day that the whole family can enjoy.” Said Fidelma Clarke, East Meath Branch Manager, Drogheda Credit Union.
“We expect to have over 1000 entrants from within the club itself and we hope that the community, and all local families and teams, be it in gaelic, soccer, or rugby will use this event as a team building experience” said Ciara Lalor, St Colmcilles PRO.
The ‘Drogheda Credit Union Cilles Colour Run’ is open to entrants of all ages, toddlers, teens, and golden oldies. All the family is welcome to join in the fun!
