Bus Éireann has announced that it is to sponsor new jackets for the Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes volunteers.
Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes provides a free service to hospitals in the Health Service Executive (HSE) North Eastern Region of Ireland for the collection and transportation of blood, blood products, human tissue, patient files / x – rays and infant milk.
This this free service is provided throughout counties Loouth, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan. They also link-up with other Blood Bike groups throughout the country.
They also provide these important transportation services to NHS facilities across the border in County Fermanagh.
