A local group of young film makers have had one of their productions accepted for entry into a prestigious national film festival.
The film, it’s called Radiohead Trauma, was written, acted directed, edited and produced from start to finish by members of the Autism Louth&Meath Drama Group mentored by Eoghan Darcy.
Their work has been accepted for screening at the 2021 First Cut! Film Festival and Needless to say all of the group’s members are delighted.
The original concept for Radiohead Trauma came from Liam Cronley who is a member of the Autism Louth Drama Group whose members are all young and creative autistic people.
First Cut! 2021 is an entirely online event that will run from April 17th until May 9th offering a rich programme of screenings, workshops and talks in a safe and inclusive virtual format. All events are free.
The First Cut! Youth Film Festival 2021 programme is now live. “Radiohead Trauma” is screening on Thursday 22nd at 7.30pm.
The completely free programme of events includes; Open Call Short Film and Feature Film Screenings, Workshops, Panel Discussions with some of the leading filmmakers in Ireland, a host of Special Guest appearances and more.
