A super Sunday for Ace AC at Cross Country in Bellewstown

It was a Super Sunday for Ace AC at the 2024 Star of the Sea Cross Country in Bellewstown County Meath where the top six places secured medals.  

Cathryn Cumming started the ball rolling in the u9s race, securing a medal, with a brilliant 6th place. New signing Saibh Jordan ran in her first cross country in the girls under 10 race and she finished only seconds outside of the medals, with a really great performance.  

Ruairi Cooney continued his fine form with another medal in the U11 boys race. Ruairi finished  in fourth place.  

Lacey McEveer and Caoimhe Carolan fought it out in the u12 girls race with Caoimhe winning a medal in 6th and Lacey also turning in a brilliant performance. 

Eoin O’Grainne won another Ace AC medal, finishing 5th in the u17 race just before u18 girl Eimear Cooney won silver in the junior ladies race and the ever improving Niall Murray finished first to take the men’s Junior Title. 

Other good performances on the day came from Hannah Black, Kate O’Donnell, Adam Cumming, and Sophie Black.
