Business owners, property owners, and members of the public gathered at Drogheda and District Chamber’s Fair Street offices this week for a successful information session showcasing the range of grants, incentives, and supports available through Louth County Council.

Hosted by Drogheda and District Chamber in association with Louth County Council, the event focused on the Living City Initiative while also highlighting vacant property grants, Local Enterprise Office supports, rates waivers, the night-time economy, and energy initiatives.

While centred on the LCI and the impact it is set to have in Drogheda, the meeting ranged across the many other opportunities out there for business and the public as a whole.

Turlough King, Linda McHugh, Olivia McCormack and Nikki Campbell all outlined elements, from tax relief, vacant property grants, LEO supports and rates waivers to the nighttime economy and energy options.

“Events like these, where the local authority, the business community and the public come together under one roof for 45 minutes, is at the heart of collaboration across sectors,” chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy, stated. “Engagement was terrific and we all want to build from here to deliver as much information as possible on the many grant and financial incentives out there.”

The first thing to do is contact Louth County Council and get the ball rolling!
