Drogheda United is delighted to announce that Shane Farrell has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2026 season.
The 25-year-old first joined the club in July 2024 and made 16 appearances in the second half of the 2024 season.
The midfielder made 42 appearances in all competitions throughout the 2025 season, the joint most of any player, alongside Conor Kane.
Farrell scored twice in 2025, both from free kicks in games against Cork City.
