As part of the incentive to encourage people to “Shop Local” over the Christmas period, Pay
Parking in the urban area of Drogheda will be reduced to €0.65 per hour from 1st December
2025 to 5th January 2026.
This reduction will apply to both on-street parking and the car parks managed by Louth
County Council and will be clearly displayed on the pay parking machines.
Charges at the Windmill Road, North Strand, Dublin Road and the long-term car parks at the
Donore Road and Trinity Street will remain unchanged.
