Chamber launches the Northeast Business Excellence Awards

Drogheda and District Chamber Council officially announced the opening of the 2022 edition of the Northeast Business Excellence Awards, at a launch event hosted in Drogheda’s Highlanes Gallery on Friday. The 2022 awards will be the first time the event has been held since 2019.

Attendees at the launch included Mayor of Drogheda Michelle Hall, Louth County Council Chief Executive Joan Martin and IDA Ireland Chairman Frank Ryan, along with a large number of delegates from the local business community. The event’s premier sponsor – Flogas – were also represented by Commercial Director Ken O’Byrne.

Addressing the event attendees, Drogheda and District Chamber President Robert Murray said “After the challenges presented by Covid in recent years, it is with great optimism and positivity that we are announcing the launch of the Northeast Business Excellence Awards 2022, and that we are doing so in person rather than virtually.
