The Guidance Counsellors in Drogheda are looking forward to welcoming Drogheda’s 5th and 6th year students to DIFE on Thursday 14th November to the Drogheda Schools Careers and College Fair. It will run from 7 – 8.30pm.
The event has been running in the town for almost 20 years and promises to be greatly beneficial for all who attend.
This event will host representatives from over 50 career areas, including Engineering, Nursing, Computers, Gardai, Defence Forces, Aircraft Engineers, Dentistry, Motor Technician, Law, Beauty & Business. There will also be representatives from Further & Higher Education (e.g. DKIT, DCU, Maynooth University) on the night to answer any questions you have.
The Guidance Counsellors would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the exhibitors who give up their time freely to chat to the students and their parents/ guardians on the night. It offers businesses a wonderful opportunity to make connections with potential future employees and they might inspire a student to pursue a particular path.
The event is open to all Senior students in the town. Their parents and guardians are invited along as well to see the array of opportunities available to school leavers.
Whether you are thinking of going to college, doing an apprenticeship, or going straight to work there will be something for you at this event.
