The ‘Pride of Place’ awards for the East Meath area took place last week in The Village Hotel, Bettystown.
Presenting the awards was the Cathaoirleach of the local area Council, Councillor Stephen McKee who stated it was a privilege to do the honours on the night.
“The whole community is enriched by the selfless work of all the volunteers involved in our local community groups, so I thank them for everything they do” Cllr. McKee said.
