Two men have been arrested and charged following a number of burglaries in the Donore and Duleek areas.
Gardaí received reports of break ins on Thursday, April 9, with two men seen leaving a vehicle and heading in the direction of Duleek.
Members attached to Laytown and Ashbourne Garda stations, along with the Meath South Task Force, carried out a search of the area and located the suspects. Both were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They were taken to Ashbourne Garda Station, later charged with multiple offences and appeared in court over the weekend.
Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance in the investigation.
Senator Sharon Keogan, who has a constituency office in Duleek, also praised Gardaí for their work in bringing the two men before the courts.
