Three people have died following a stabbing at a house in Drumgowna near Tallanstown, Co Louth, this morning (Monday, 29th September 2025).
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the incident at a residential property shortly after 10am. Two men and a woman, all adults, were found dead at the scene.
The area has been sealed off for a full technical examination. The Offices of the Coroner and the State Pathologist have been notified.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and is being detained at a Garda station in the North West Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Units from Ardee and Drogheda Garda Stations, members of the Armed Response Unit, and the National Ambulance Service all attended.
Investigations are ongoing, and Gardaí say they have no further information to share at this time.
