Gardai are investigating a robbery at a pharmacy in Duleek,Co Meath around midday last Monday morning.
Three men burst into the premises in broad daylight and stole a large stash of drugs.
It is understood that staff bravely tried to stop them but they filled their bags with products and fled.
Local Senator Sharon Keogan condemned the incident and appealed to anyone with information to contact the Gardai. She also warned local business owners to be vigilant.
The Garda Press Officer said:” Gardai received a report of an alleged incident of theft that occurred at a business premises in Duleek, Co Meath on Monday,December 1, at approximately 12.00pm
” A number of items were taken from the premises. Investigation is ongoing.”
