St Oliver’s Scout Group will host the fourth Greenmount House Willie Reilly Golf Classic at Seapoint Golf Links on Friday, August 15, 2025.
The annual event began in 2022 in memory of the late Willie Reilly, a respected local chef and a dedicated leader with St Oliver’s Scout Group for over three decades. Reilly, who passed away in May 2021, was known for inspiring many young people in the Drogheda community. An avid golf enthusiast, the classic serves to honor his legacy while supporting the Scout Group’s ongoing activities.
Greenmount House is the headline sponsor again this year and will host a meal and prize-giving ceremony on the evening of August 15th. While some teams and sponsors have already registered, there are still opportunities for golfers and additional sponsors to participate in the 2025 event.
St Oliver’s Scout Group is currently accepting new members, both boys and girls, aged 6 and up. The group also welcomes adult volunteers interested in helping to deliver the scouting program.
