Sonairte Ecology Centre releases 2022 calendar of events

Sonairte – the National Ecology Centre based at the Ninch in Laytown, has released its calendar of courses and events for 2022 which includes events such as gardening, beekeeping and natural skincare products to attract participants with a variety of interests.

All public events during 2022 are aligned to Sonairte’s vision to serve as a community hub to enable people to live more sustainably and address bothmclimate change and the biodiversity crisis.

Sonairte’s events range from both outdoor activities such as gardening workshops to indoor learning activities like natural skincare making workshops. The aim is to engage the public with unique learning activities connected to nature and biodiversity.

Sonairte’s events will take place on all parts of the centre including the gardens, Long Hall, and Nature Trail next to the River Nanny.

Ticket prices are based on supplies, need to compensate event leaders, and to support the operation of the Sonairte centre, with some events free where possible. Tickets for events can be purchased at Sonairte’s Eco Shop and on our website via EventBrite.

Please help Sonairte spread awareness of its 2022 events by sharing events online through social media or through word of mouth. Sonairte thanks the diverse and knowledgeable event leaders for creating unique experiences for the public to enjoy.
