Kidkast Drogheda Theatre School is celebrating a major milestone after winning six national honours at the Dance Awards Ireland, held on October 25th in the Mansion House, Dublin.
The ceremony, which gathered leading figures from across Ireland’s performing arts scene, recognised excellence, creativity, and leadership in dance. For Kidkast, it was a night that highlighted both talent and teamwork.

Founder and director Tracey Martin received two of the evening’s most prestigious awards, recognising a lifetime of dedication to Irish dance and her commitment to mentoring the next generation.
“I’m deeply humbled by these awards,” Tracey said. “They belong to everyone who’s been part of the Kidkast story – from our tiniest tots to our advanced performers. The dedication of our teachers, the enthusiasm of our students, and the trust of our families are what make Kidkast so special.”
Tracey also met world-renowned choreographer Brian Friedman, known for his work with Britney Spears, Beyoncé, and Cher, during the event. “Meeting Brian was such an inspiration,” she added. “His passion for teaching and artistry mirrors what we strive for at Kidkast.”
Kidkast’s success reflects years of creativity, resilience, and community spirit. Every teacher, student, and parent has played a part in building something that goes beyond trophies.
As the applause faded at the Mansion House, one thing was clear: from the studios of Drogheda to the national stage, Kidkast continues to inspire, innovate, and champion the power of dance in Ireland.
