Second Outage in a Week: Uisce Éireann Announce Urgent Works in North Drogheda

There will be another water outage in north Drogheda and Termonfeckin this Wednesday, August 20 to facilitate urgent works that need to be done by Uisce Eireann.

The Mayor Michelle Hall confirmed the works will take place from 10am to 4pm.
 
It may result in a disruption to supply in parts of north Drogheda, Newtownstalaban, Beaulieu, Queensboro,Baltray, Shetland Road, Seapoint Road, Termonfeckin village and Termonfeckin road.
 
Sinead Kennedy of Uisce Eireann has assured affected householders that crews will complete the work as quickly as possible to restore normal water supply.
 
She said:’ We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by a planned outage and we thank customers in advance for their patience while we carry out these essential works.”
 
This is the second disruption to the Drogheda water supply in a week. It was all turned off in the northern part of the town and Termonfeckin last Thursday.
