Renewed Witness Appeal: Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Gormanston, Co. Meath

Gardaí continue to investigate the fatal three-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the R132 at Gormanston, Co. Meath, on the morning of Monday 24th November 2025.

The male driver of the lorry (aged his 40’s) and the male driver of the bus (aged in his 50’s) were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The female driver of the car (aged in her 40’s) and her female passenger (aged in her teens) both remain in a serious condition in hospital.

Gardaí are renewing their appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

In particular, any persons who were travelling on the bus at the time of the collision and have not yet spoken to Gardaí are asked to contact them.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling on the R132, at Gormanston, Co. Meath, between 5.45am and 6.45am this morning, Monday 24th November 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
