Almost 490,000 people watched the ladies All Ireland Gaelic football finals on TG4 last Sunday.
It was a day to remember for the Louth team as they beat Antrim to win the Junior title for the 4th time in their history.
The Louth match was the first game on air at the very early start of 11.45am but 32,600 viewers still tuned in to see it.
The Intermediate Final when Tyrone beat Laois was watched by an average audience of 93,900 while the main game, the senior final between Dublin and Meath was watched by 172,500 with the Dubs running out easy winners.
This was a 16% increase on the viewing figures for the previous year and interest in women’s Gaelic Football continues to surge.
The attendance itself at Croke Park for the day was 48,000, the highest since 2019.
TG4 has been a partner with the Ladies Gaelic Footballers Association (LGFA) since 2001.

There was also a 37% increase in live streams on the TG4 Player across the three finals compared to 2024.
