Make 2024 the year for change at Red Door’s cocaine recovery programme

Drogheda Chamber chips in with €2K donation

After a Christmas when Drogheda was awash with drugs, particularly cocaine, the Red Door Project have initiated a cocaine recovery programme which will be taking place this month and again in February and March with the motto being “Make 2024 the year for change!”

The Cocaine Recovery Programme, which runs two evenings weekly and two Saturdays to support people in employment. combines a host of scientifically proven therapies to help users reduce their intake with the ultimate goal of becoming substance free. 

The programme, which starts tomorrow January 16, is open to anyone in full or part time employment but places are limited so, for more information, and to start on your personal road to recovery, contact Ger on 089 4908 060 or 041 9804957.

Supporting the great work of The Red Door Project, the business community in Drogheda has delivered almost €2,000 in financial support.

Drogheda and District Chamber hosted the annual Northeast Business Awards in City North Hotel and through the generosity of the guests came up with a total of €1,973 to hand over.

“There are so many great community and charity groups in the Drogheda region and as a chamber we strive to assist as many of them as we can,” said Chamber President Hubert Murphy. “Those attending on the night dug deep for a great cause and we simply say, thank you.”
