The Lú Festival colouring competition is giving children aged 12 and under the chance to see their artwork projected onto St Peter’s Church in Drogheda this October.
Winning designs will become part of the festival’s urban animation projections, appearing alongside stories, characters, and imagery inspired by Irish mythology.
It means selected entries will be seen on a huge scale alongside the stories, characters and imagery being brought to life during the festival.

Organisers are looking for colourful, creative and imaginative entries that capture the spirit of Lú Festival.
Winning artwork will appear alongside projections featuring heroes, inventors, gods and goddesses and stories from Irish mythology.
The colouring sheet can be downloaded from the Lú Festival of Light website or through Love Drogheda.
Entries for the Lú Festival colouring competition must be returned to the Love Drogheda BID office on Meatmarket Lane by 5pm on Monday, 5th October.
Every entry must also include a completed entry form signed by a parent or guardian.
Lú Festival returns for Halloween weekend
The Lú Festival of Light returns to Drogheda from Friday, 23rd October to Monday, 26th October.
The free, family-friendly festival uses large-scale urban animation to transform some of Drogheda’s best-known buildings, drawing on stories from Irish mythology and local heritage.
This year’s festival forms part of Ireland’s Home of Halloween programme, with further events planned across the Bank Holiday weekend.
