Louth County Council – Temporary Closure of Obelisk Bridge Road

Section 75 Roads Act, 1993

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its decision to close the under mentioned road to all public vehicular and pedestrian/cycle traffic  from 1^st August 2023 to 31^st May 2024, to carry out major refurbishment works to the King Williams Glen Road (L-2321-0), more commonly known as the Obelisk Bridge Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth.  

The extent of the road closure will be the length of the bridge.

It is anticipated the road closure will be for a duration of not more than 10 months.
