Larry Staudt from the Chord Road is a man of many talents. Last time we featured him on these pages he was making and playing his own guitars but this time around it’s his writing skills that has him in the news.
Larry is launching, not one, but three children’s books at the Highlanes Gallery on Wednesday November 23rd at 11AM.
Larry is a retired engineer who used to work at Dundalk IT, where he helped develop the campus wind turbine.
During this time he would give primary school class tours bits of whimsical poetry on environmental themes.
He has now formally published this poetry in three illustrated children’s books:
- Ollie Magoo and The Forest of Stoo
- Kofi Tumu from Timbuktu
- Jenny McGruff and Her Energy Stuff
Larry will be doing a reading and signing his books. Everyone is welcome along and meet the author and have a cup of tea!
