Kidkast Leinster Dance Studio of the Year success has continued, with the Drogheda performing arts school winning the award for the second year in a row.
The award was presented by Dance Awards Ireland at a ceremony in Dublin’s Mansion House on Saturday, 24th October.
Kidkast owner Tracey Martin said the recognition reflected the work of the wider school community.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this prestigious award again this year,” she said.
“It’s wonderful to have the work we do at Kidkast recognised in this way, but this award truly belongs to the staff, students and parents who make up our Kidkast family, we are so proud and grateful to each and every one of them.”
Classes across Drogheda, Collon and Garristown
Kidkast provides dance, drama and performing arts classes from its Old Abbey Dance Studios in Drogheda, as well as in Collon and Garristown.
The school also stages theatre productions to give students an opportunity to perform, with some going on to continue their performing arts education at third level.
Kidkast Manager Beth Murtagh paid tribute to the team behind the school.
“The experience and enthusiasm they bring to their classes, and the support that our student helpers also provide to our younger pupils, creates the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is at the heart of everything we do,” she said.
