Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on John Street in Drogheda on Friday evening.
The two-vehicle collision, involving a jeep and an e-bike, happened at approximately 6.45pm on Friday, 25th September.
A woman in her 20s who was on the e-bike was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Gardaí said John Street was closed pending an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with a further closure between Meat Market Lane and the junction of Dyer Street.
Local diversions were put in place.
Witnesses and dash-cam footage sought
Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, and who were travelling in the vicinity of John Street between 6.30pm and 7pm on Friday, 25th September, are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
