The ladies of Indigo Artists Drogheda were delighted and greatly surprised when they received an invitation from President Michael D . Higgins to visit Aras an Uachtarain for Afternoon Tea, followed by a guided tour of the house and gardens.
Their official guide on the day, Seargent Paul Mulligan, was very welcoming and most generous with his time and extensive knowledge of the history and daily workings of this great house.
A splendid day was had by all in this beautiful and historic setting. Misneach, the Presidents dog, also welcomed them on their tour of the gardens. Go raibh mile maith agat go leir.
