Impressive performances from young Ace athletes at Darver Cross Country

Ace AC athletes had a great day at the even ages Louth Cross Country Championships at Darver on Sunday.

There was some very impressive performances from many young athletes including a very good 5th place for Kate O Donnell in the girls U14 3k race. She was strong throughout. Lauren Faulkner unfortunately had to pull out of the same race due to injury.

Ollie Marron ran out of age in the boys’ U12 race, and was very impressive, alongside Tayo Lawrence and Seamus Sheridan.

Sisters Sophie and Hannah Black both performed very well today in their u10 and u12 races while Ruairi Cooney just missed out on a medal finishing in 5th place in the boys U10s.

Ace Newcomer Tadgh Scanlon drew lots of praise from his coaches for his fine performance in the boy’s u14 race. He’s definitely an athlete to watch.
