One of the most colourful events of the year the Droghda Credit Union Cille’s Colour Run is returning for the fourth year in a row.
The idea is for families to run, walk or stroll the 5k trek in mad wonderful colours for a bit of fun and to put a smile on everyone’s faces.
It will be held on Sunday, September 7 next at 2pm at a new venue, the Seafield pitch near Laytown beach and promises to be a great day out.
The vice chairperson of St Colmcilles GAA club in east Meath, Ciara Lalor urged as many local families as possible to participate.
She said:” We are excited for the return of the fourth annual Drogheda Credit Union Cillies Colour Run. The move to Seafield Pitch will add a whole new dimension and we are sure families, kids and adults will love it!

The tickets for the Colour Run are available from www.cilles.com and cost €12.50 single entry and €50 for a family.
The run is open to entrants of all ages from toddlers to teenagers and clubmates.
