Fáilte Ireland is inviting local businesses and community members to take part in its Ireland’s Ancient East Champions Programme, designed to enhance customer service skills and build knowledge of the local tourism offering.
The programme combines Know Your Destination training with a focus on inclusive customer service.
Frontline professionals including those working in taxi services, pubs, restaurants, accommodation, activity businesses, social enterprises and festivals are encouraged to attend. Community volunteers and anyone who engages with visitors are also welcome.
The free workshop will take place on Wednesday, 20th May from 10.00am to 1.00pm at The Marcy Hotel, with registration from 9.30am.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Those interested can register by emailing champions@failteireland.ie with their name and place of work.
The programme offers an opportunity for participants to develop their skills and contribute to delivering a high quality visitor experience in Drogheda.
