DkIT to host CAO and Course information morning for prospective students

Prospective students are being invited to Dundalk Institute of Technology to attend a CAO and Course Information Morning on Saturday, 17 January.

The event will take place in the Muirhevna Building on the DkIT campus from 10.00am to 1.00pm and will give visitors the chance to learn more about courses on offer, student life, financial supports and personal development opportunities at the institute.

DkIT offers a broad range of programmes designed to prepare students both academically and practically, with a strong focus on developing workplace skills and improving graduate employability. According to the Higher Education Authority’s 2024 Graduate Outcome Survey, 76.5 percent of DkIT graduates surveyed were in full time employment, the highest rate recorded across Irish third level institutions.

Those attending the information morning will be able to ask questions about CAO applications and find out more about the supports available through the DARE and HEAR admission schemes. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet students and staff from the Schools of Business and Humanities, Engineering, Informatics and Creative Arts, and Health and Science.

Admissions staff will be available throughout the event to provide guidance on the application process, while information will also be provided on student supports, sports scholarships and student societies.

DkIT has confirmed that campus tours will not take place during the information morning.
