Brian Lounds is a multi-talented artist who lives in Bettystown, his background is in multimedia and has been drawing and painting for years but he is probably best known locally for his graffiti.
During the two Fleadh Cheoil festivals in Drogheda in 2018 and 2019 Brian, who has a BA (Hons) in Art & Design / Digital Media, produced two comic books and he has just released his third.
The comic features two characters called ‘Spray’ and ‘Chill’ and their adventures.
“I wanted to tie in Irish lore and mythology but to keep it fun” Brian told Drogheda Life. “It’s a comic that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. “
In this latest story Spray and Chill go to do some painting at a nearby derelict house only to run into a leprechaun who challenges them to find his pot of gold.
