Heritage Walk n Talk.
Community historian Brendan Matthews will lead the next Heritage Walk and Talk in Drogheda on Wednesday 5th August.
The walk will begin at 7.30pm at the site of the old jail, now Chadwicks, on Scarlett Street.
From there, participants will be guided through part of Drogheda’s local history before finishing at St Peter’s Hill on Peter Street at around 8.30pm.
The event is free to attend, with donations welcome. Any money raised will support further historical research and the development of a living history experience.
