The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is running short of O- and AB- blood types.
Today it issued an appeal for anyone with these particular blood types to contact them and give a blood donation.
IBTS say they have two days supply left of these two blood stocks.
There will be a clinic in Dundalk tomorrow ( Thursday) at the Gateway Hotel from 4pm to 8pm if you can help.
Two more extra clinics are to be opened on Ardee and Duleek next month.
The Duleek Clinic will be held at Duleek National School on September 1 between 5pm to 9pm while the Ardee clinic will be in the town’s Parish Centre on September 2, from 3.45pm to 8pm.
