The median price of a house in Louth has increased again, the latest CSO property price figures for September reveal.
It is now Three Hundred and Fifty Thousands euros to buy a property in the county compared to €349,000 in August – an increase of €1,000.
The average price in neighbouring Meath is €394,999, one of the highest in Ireland behind Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare.
It was also confirmed that Fingal yet again is the cheapest place to live in Dublin with a median price of Four Hundred and Sixty Five Thousand euros.
The most expensive part of the capital is Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown where an average home is Six Hundreds and Seventy Five Thousands euros.
There were 4,682 properties purchased in September worth a total value of €2 billion.
They included over 3,000 existing dwellings and 1,008 new builds. There were 1,784 first time buyers in September.
