The Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s Memory Walk, takes place nationwide on Sunday, 21 September 2025 — World Alzheimer’s Day.
Locally, walkers in Louth will gather at St Dominic’s Park, Drogheda for a 9am start, joining thousands of people across Ireland walking in solidarity to raise awareness and vital funds for dementia supports and services.
The Memory Walk is a family-friendly event open to all ages and abilities. Each step taken honours loved ones living with dementia, remembers those we have lost, and shows support for families and carers.
Funds raised will go directly to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, helping provide essential services in communities across the country.
