Drogheda author, entrepreneur, and lecturer Andrine Mendez has launched his new book, “How to Start a Business with (Almost) No Money,” at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT).
The launch included handing the first official copy to Dr Kate Johnston from the School of Business and Humanities at DKIT, who previously mentored Andrine during his research thesis, leading to his first published research paper.
Andrine, who teaches sales and marketing at Drogheda Institute of Further Education and Independent College Dublin, offers readers an actionable guide to launching a successful business in 2025. The book provides practical steps and valuable resources, empowering aspiring entrepreneurs to confidently start their journey.
The launch event also highlighted DKIT’s “Student Inc.” initiative, a startup support program that provides students with a €4,000 stipend to transform their innovative ideas into viable businesses.
Early reviews for the book have been highly positive. Robert Murray from the Drogheda Chamber praised the guide, calling it “an essential companion filled with valuable insights on marketing, strategy, and execution, especially for first-time founders.”
The book is currently available on Amazon in Kindle, paperback, and audiobook formats and will be in stock at Waterstones Drogheda or online from https://www.andrinemendez.com/bootstrap-blueprint
