Community Historian Brendan Matthews will present the next in his popular series of History and Heritage Walk n Talks on Wednesday next, June 18th.
Starting at the bottom of Meat-Market Lane in Dyer Street at 7.30pm, Brendan will elaborate on the origins and the fascinating history of Dyer St over the centuries before walking & talking you through the former Hay-Market, Wellington Quay and Dominic Street to West Street.
The Walk will then proceed across West Street where Brendan will again speak about some of the fine architecture and tales of Drogheda`s `Storied-Past`.
The walk will take around 1-hour to complete. This a Free event with donations gratefully accepted on the evening for the further research and presentation of Community History.
