With the end of summer in sight, local sports clubs are gearing up for the new season. For Boyne Hockey, that starts with a summer camp designed to get new players on the pitch and existing members ready for the challenges ahead.
From August 11th to 15th, the club will host a week-long camp at Drogheda Grammar School, welcoming boys and girls of all ages and skill levels.
The goal is to introduce kids to the game in a friendly setting. If a child has never played before, the club has sticks for them to borrow, making it easy to try out the fast-paced sport.
This season is shaping up to be an important one for the club, with several teams taking on new challenges and some moving into the Leinster league.
It’s a great time for young players to join and be part of the club’s growth.
