Big players need big pitches. And thereâs no better arena to show off than Drogheda and the M1 Corridor at this moment, with major infrastructure projects set to transform how this region does business.
So, it was wonderful for members of the chamber team to meet up with the chairman of Dubai-based Fragrance World, Poland Moosa, and show off the delights of the Boyneside.
Employing nearly 3,000 people, operating in over 150 countries, and producing over 75m products annually, his firm knows how to deliver on a grand scale.
His Drogheda visit included a tour with Brendan Matthews and a meeting with Louth CC, all designed to show what this area has to offer.
His story is an incredible one. Born in Kerala, India, he overcame financial hardships and an incomplete education to redefine his destiny. He moved to UAE as a houseboy, but a decade later, stepped into the business world, eventually venturing into cosmetics and perfumes, and in 2004, he founded Fragrance World, a brand that would soon dominate the global perfume industry.
He is a pioneer of worldwide business, and as a Chamber, we were delighted to welcome such a game-changer.
