Speaking after her record-breaking race, Claire Corcoran said she was thrilled with the team’s achievements:
“I am super proud of my own performance, but also could not be prouder of the crew. Everyone put in maximum effort in training, and it paid off with some nice silverware and personal bests in at least one race each. It was great to represent Inver Colpa RC at a national competition and raise the club’s profile among the wider rowing community.”
The team is already gearing up for the Nationals in January. Inver Colpa also extended thanks to the Boyne Fishermen’s Rescue and Recovery Service for providing training space and supports the club says played a key role in their success.
